We wich you arrive at your hotel in Helsinki until 3 pm. We start our tour at 4 pm with a welcome sauna!

After the welcome sauna, we will have a welcome dinner on the sea. A dinner cruise with a Scandinavian seafood buffet!

St Petersburg day! After breakfast we drive the big dam road to the fortress town Kronstadt! From Kronstadt, we continue to Peter the Great's summer home, Petergof. Behind Petergof's golden fountains is an excellent lunch place in the middle of the gardens. It's late afternoon when we are back at our hotel, where we just leave our bikes and start to do foot transport in the heart of the city. It's time to visit Palace Square, Isaac's Church and Vodka Museum!

If you haven’t felt it yet, the feeling that you’re far from home, you will feel it today when we drive to Belomorsk. Belomorsk is like a Ural-motorcycle, no unnecessary changes in 80 years! And probably no-one in Moscow knows that it exists! ;) ... however, Karelia is full of small places like Belomorsk and they are giving the whole are its unique feeling!

Day devoted to the northern dimension! Murmansk of Russia! From breakfast, we drive or take a taxi to Alyosha. Alyosha is a huge concrete soldier which has been erected in memory of soldiers who died in World War II. On another must in the city is ms Lenin, now a museum in the city's harbour. Before a nuclear icebreaker! After ms Lenin, we continue to the Museum of Northern Fleet! That's the cultural part of that day. The end of the day and the evening of your time to explore the city.

Go north! And going more north from Inari means also that we are driving out from the forest area. Trees shrink to bushes before they disappear totally before we arrive at Honnigsvåg!

But before we start our awesome driving day, we visit Siida! Siida is a Sami Center, museum and nature centre!

From Alta you have main 3 choices to the south; 

1) E6 which is following coastal Norway. 2) E45 through central Sweden.

3) E8/E75 through Finland! ... and many alternatives! :) ... or

4) Alta - Rovaniemi - Kuopio - Helsinki with your tour leader, 3 days additional Finland experience. Ask!

Showtime. Go east! our 1st stop is a coffee break at Red Wooded Porvoo. From there we drive to the border where it takes what it takes! When we have all our stamps we will have a Russian lunch and then we head to the magnificent Tsars St Petersburg!

After dinner, it's time for a canal cruise and you understand fast why St Petersburg is also called the 'Venice of the North'.

Today we hit the Murmansk Highway and leave the pearl of Russia, St Petersburg and drive to the pearl of Karelia, Petrozavodsk! At the lunch stop, you will have your best borch-soup on this tour at the famous Farmers Restaurant!

Petrozavodsk, which is the lively capital of Karelia Oblast and also an excellent place to have a traditional Karelian dinner!

This is a bit longer day. We have 640 km to go, but we can do it easily! There are not any traffic lights between Belomorsk and Murmansk... and not much traffic either! And it will not be dark whatever time we arrive at the exotic city of Murmansk! Nights are bright until the end of August! Most likely we will have our 'helmet beers' before 7 pm! Helmet beer = a beer you drink at the hotel's bar with your driving gear on before going to the room! :)

Today is a 'Go West' -day all day. We drive to Finland's Lapland. But before that, we visit the city of Nikel, which all gods have abandoned! :) ... and we will also have Hot Dogs at the Kirkenes central square in Norway! To Inari, we drive the fun Sevettijärvi road! On the road is not much traffic, more raindeers than cars!? So be awake!

In the morning we drive to the end of the Road! To the North Cape! And maybe you visited it also last night? When we are done, we turn our bikes in the direction south and our landscapes are today as breathtaking as they were yesterday! Our last driving days address is Alta. And in the evening is time for the farewell dinner in a Sami's TeePee!
