Day 1 ° > Tel Aviv

Welcome to Tel Aviv. We wish you arrive at our hotel by 6 pm when we have welcome Goldstars (most popular beer in Israel) and many words about upcoming days. After Goldstars it is a time for a

welcome dinner... and Tel Aviv is full of choices... but we choose some local flavors! And if you have never been to Tel Aviv, it's not a bad idea to come one day earlier!

Day 2 ° Tel Aviv - Haifa - Metula

It’s the show time after a... multinational breakfast. Our 1st driving days destination is the northernmost city of Israel, Metula!

But 1st we drive to Haifa and to the (even for bikers) impressive Baha'i Gardens! From Haifa to Kraf Rosh HaNikra and from there we follow Lebanon's border on the small fun roads almost to small Metula. 

Day 3 ° Metula - Golan - Netanya

Our first address today is Golan Heights, where we drive up to Mount Hermon Ski Center. We don't ski today, but you can visit the top of Mt Hermon with a chair lift! From Mt Hermon, we follow the border of Syria down to the south end of the Sea of Galilee! They say that Jesus was walking on this sea... if you want to try, better leave your driving gears on-shore! :) From the Sea of Galilee to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and Netanya where we stay overnight!

Day 4 ° Netanya - Jerusalem - Ein Bokek

Jerusalem here we come! But first, we pass Tel Aviv, wherefrom we take a small secondary road to Jerusalem! In Jerusalem, we park our bikes and continue on foot to the colourful old town! If you want to pray at Western Wall for a new motorbike or something else, it's ok. No one is asking about your religion. From Jerusalem, we drive to Jerico and to the shores of the shrinking Dead Sea! After 50 years there might be no sea at all, so now it's a good time to visit it!

Day 5 ° Ein Bokek - Metsada - Ein Bokek

Today is a day off... or a Metsada Day... or both!? :) However, a great way to start the day is bathing and floating in the Dead Sea. Swimming is a bit difficult! You can visit the famous table mountain, Metsada also by cable car from the Dead Sea side... but the more fun way to do it is to drive to the other side of it via Arad! And from the Arad side, there is no cable car, so you can do some exercise and walk up! It's worth it!

Day 6 ° Ein Bokek - Eilat

Today across the Negev Desert to Eilat on the Red Sea! Eilat is also an Israeli holiday and diving centre... and a familiar place to many tourists around the world! However, the only right way to get to Eilat is by motorcycle! :) At the Red Sea end, you have no roads to choose from. But in the beginning yes, so we drive smaller roads inland! On the second half of the driving, we drive the Jordan landscapes on the clutch handle side!

Day 7 ° Eilat - Timna Park - Eilat

Eilat’s Sea Aquarium is a so-called must-see. If you have a diving card you may want more. Eilat is also a great diving destination on the shores of the Red Sea! But for those who want to stay on dry land, there is the magnificent Timna Park just a short drive from the city. Timna's archaeological and geological wonders are one of Israel’s main attractions! 

Day 8 ° Eilat - Be'er Sheva - Tel Aviv

Today is the longest driving day of our Israel adventure, but a great driving day... again! :) From Eilat, we follow first the border of Egypt before we turn into Negev Desert towards the desert capital Be'er Sheva! But before Be'er Sheva we have Israel's Grand Canyon, beautiful Mitzpe Ramon! After Be'er Sheva we drive to Mefalsim, wherefrom we can see to Gaza! However, Gaza is a no go area for us with rental bikes! When back in Tel Aviv, we return the bikes, take a shower and it's time for farewell dinner!

Back to home! Every time is a good time to leave! But is you did not stay an extra day in Tel Aviv when you came, you might want to do it now!? One fun way to see the city, is to hire an ebike! :)
