Welcome to Cuba… and in a nice way! You do not need to queue for immigration controls or baggage claim. You will wait at a VIP lounge while qualified personnel completes all formalities… and maybe have a rum! And we wish you are at the hotel until 7pm. At 8pm we will have a welcome dinner!

After breakfast, we are heading to Vinales Valley and Pinar del Rio which is one of the most beautiful areas on our globe… and Pinar del Rio is the capital of the Cuban Tobacco and its world-famous cigars! So yes, we will visit a tobacco farm and a cigar factory or two! We will see how Cubans produce the famous Cuban hand made cigars! Naturally, they are just happy yo sell you a couple of cigars!

Today we ride to the "Pearl of the Coast”, Cienfuegos. On the way, we will visite Cienaga de Zapata National Park where we go and say hello, to Cuban Crocodiles which can grow up to 4 meters! Lunch at a Crocodile farm where you can also have crocodile meat! After lunch, we will make a small boat trip to the Cuban Everglades and participate in a ceremony of Cuban Indians to worship the God of Tobacco! Between Cienaga de Zapata and Cienfuegos we make a stop at the famous Bay of Pigs! This is the place where US troops got cold showers from the Cuban army when they tried to start a full-scale invasion of Cuba in 1961!

Holiday in holiday! Enjoy beaches, sea and sun. Have an ice cream (or a Cuba libre) at Plaza La Estrella! Or just listen to the rotations of the earth!

Our last driving day… on this tour! We drive back to Havana via Matanzas and the beautiful Via Blanca which is following the coastline! We are in Havana in a good time and if you need some souvenirs, Mercado San Jose is the place to look for the best handicrafts and paintings in the town! In the evening it is time for farewell dinner!

After breakfast, bike pick up and City tour of Old Havana (UNESCO’s World Heritage), and New Havana. We get to know our machines during the day, which are not the latest models, but a bit vintage fits well in Cuba! We will see and experience today at least Revolution Square, La Finca (Hemingway Museum), Fusterlandia (Mosaic City), ‘Hemingways’ Ambos Mundos hotel (we might also stay there?). However, we will have a great day… and in the evening we must naturally learn to dance salsa!

We start our great driving with Ruta 241 to Cuevo del Indio where we take a boat trip to the caves!

And then we have many many curves to ride with big smiles inside our helmets at La Güira National Park and Sierra Del Rosario Natural Park areas before our destination of the day, eco-village Las Terrazas! Here you have also a natural pool, Banos del San Juan, for a cool and nice swim! After Cuevo del Idio we do not have fixed roads, so we can drive a bit more or less!

This is a great day… again! But no can do :) … 1st we drive to Unesco’s World Heritage City, Trinidad and have a coffee at the gorgeous Plaza Mayor which is surrounded by colonial architecture! From Trinidad, we drive to Che Guevara Mausoleum in Santa Clara. There between we have the beautiful Topes de Collantes Natural Park with numerous curves. Our last 50km today is the breathtaking causeway connecting the mainland with Cayo Santa María! And yes, then it might be the time for a Canchanchara, Cuba Libre or a beer before the dinner!

Causeway back to the mainland is a superb start for our driving day! On the mainland, we turn towards Sague La Grande. This is the northern and smaller road to the west! Sagua La Grande in the halfway is an excellent place for a lunch break! Our last stop before the hotel today is Monumento a la Bandera. The Monument of Cuban Flag!

If you have not been to Havana before, you might to stay here an extra day or two... if you did not do it on the arrival! And if you fly home today, every time is a good time to fly!
